At Mahalakshmi Handlooms, customer satisfaction is important to us. We strive to provide premium quality handloom products with authentic craftsmanship. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted only in the following cases:
- Damaged product received
- Incorrect product delivered
- Manufacturing defect in the product
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be unused and in original condition
- Original tags, packaging, and invoice should be available
- The return request must be raised within 3 days of delivery
2. Non-Returnable Products
The following products are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Products damaged after use
- Items without original packaging or tags
- Products returned after the allowed return period
- Customized or altered products
- Minor color variations due to photography or screen settings
- Handloom irregularities that are part of authentic craftsmanship
As many of our products are handcrafted and handwoven, slight weaving variations are natural and not considered defects.
3. Return Request Process
To request a return, customers must contact us within 3 days of receiving the order and provide:
- Order number
- Product images/videos clearly showing the issue
- Brief explanation of the problem
Return requests can be shared through:
- Phone call
- Email support
4. Return Approval
Once the issue is verified by our team:
- The return request will be approved or rejected
- Customers will be informed about the next steps
- Pickup arrangements may be made depending on service availability
Mahalakshmi Handlooms reserves the right to deny returns if the product does not meet return eligibility conditions.
5. Refund Policy
After receiving and inspecting the returned product:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days
- Refunds will be credited through the original payment method or bank transfer
Shipping charges (if any) are generally non-refundable unless the error was from our side.
6. Exchange Policy
Exchanges may be provided based on:
- Product availability
- Approval of return request
If the requested replacement product is unavailable, a refund may be processed instead.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can only be canceled before dispatch.
- Once the order is shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
